2017 A to Z Challenge Blog: L is for Leah

2017 BadgeWelcome to the twelfth day of the 2017 A to Z Challenge. I want to thank everyone for sharing their kind words and comments on my blogging efforts. Feedback makes the blogging world go round.

This morning, a friend posted a meme that I’m going to share with you. Why? Because it’s made a lasting impression on me, just as the subject of today’s post has.

time thing

Today, I’m continuing in my efforts to introduce you to some new authors. This young lady is new to me, but I can see she has the potential to do great things.

L is for Leah Hamrick

LLeah Hamrick lives in Michigan with her partner-in- crime husband, Jon, their young daughter, Khloey, and plethora of reptiles, fish, and a tree frog named Sticky. She can always be found with her nose in a YA book, daydreaming and thinking up new ideas for a story, and trying to figure out how to make a character’s chemistry clash with another’s. Leah is a fan of romance and anything paranormal. She gets the inspiration for her stories from things that have happened in her own life—except for the untitledparanormal/fantasy aspect, of course. She wishes she were that awesome! Bold, daring, and determined to succeed, she strives to perfect her craft. When she isn’t plotting and scheming, she enjoys listening to heavy metal music, traveling, watching bad reality TV, and everything pink. One day, she hopes to become a well known author, and plans to keep writing stories for everyone to enjoy for years to come. As of yesterday, she is an international best selling author. WOO HOO! Congrats, Leah.

You can follow Leah through her Amazon author page.

Among Leah’s recent works are:

CoverIn the Darkness: After Anna Bowden witnesses someone—or something—lurking in her backyard, it starts a chain of frightening events that leads to a gruesome discovery.

Digital copy:

First Holiday: Featuring the characters from Frost On My Pillow—be prepared for a sweet, fun, wild ride. While Ethan gives Lyla—who has never celebrated Christmas before— the task of finding out the true meaning of the holiday, he surreptitiously tries to tell her how he really feels, but before that can occur, a lot of decorating and snowball fights has to happen! Digital copy:

That’s it for now. Watch for more great things from this talented, young author.

Finally retired after more than 30 years as a teacher! Now, I get to spend my time gardening, enjoying my grandchildren, and writing. I finally completed the number one item in my bucket list and Crimson Romance published my first novel, Fire Angel, in April 2013. Since then I have published 24 manuscripts to date and don't plan to quit writing for a long time yet.
