Christmas Confessions CoverBlurb:  From the moment Brandon James hired Chelsea St. Claire to work in his bar, he’s wanted her in ways that cross every line of the employer – employee relationship. Even though he’s always kept things professional, when a snow storm strands Chelsea at the bar, forcing her to spend Christmas with him, he can no longer control his desires.

Despite being sad about missing out on Christmas with her family, Chelsea’s not sorry to be spending time in the home — and bed — of a man she’s wanted for over a year. But when Chelsea finds a note revealing Brandon’s true feelings, she must decide if she wants a Christmas fling, or if she has some Christmas confessions of her own.

 Excerpt:

Chelsea shivered and pulled her coat collar tighter around her neck. The snow was coming so fast she could barely see in front of her let alone to the curb where her car was parked. She squinted against the flying snow and harsh wind, keeping her head down, she slowly made her way toward her car. The sidewalk was slippery, too, and she guessed there was a layer of ice beneath all this snow. Perfect. That would make driving home even more perilous.

She reached her car and tried to open the door. It was frozen shut. Sighing, she went around to the passenger’s side, hoping she would be able to get one of the doors open. “Shit,” she muttered when that door wouldn’t open either. Now what the hell was she supposed to do?

Maybe pouring some hot water on it would thaw it enough for her to get it open. But that meant she’d have to walk all the way back inside. She frowned and glanced at her surroundings, looking for something she could use to pick at the ice on her door. Of course, she needed to wipe away the mountain of snow first. I should really just go back inside and ask Brandon for help. The simple thought of him had her heart rate spiking and her insides warming. So not the time for this, Chels.

Chelsea turned to head back inside when a snow plow came barreling down the road much too fast, piling even more snow on top of her car. She saw the slush only a second before it drenched her and something hard smacked her forehead. Then, everything went black.
